A face swap means handing over a video and a photo of a face. It is fair to ask what happens to them afterwards. Here is the plain answer.

The 24-hour rule

Everything you send us and everything we make for you is deleted automatically 24 hours after it is created. That is the clip and the photo you upload, the finished video, and even screenshots you attach to a support message. It is one number, applied to everything — not a vague promise, but the actual rule the system runs on.

Why a countdown, not "forever"

The video of your own face is the most personal thing this site ever holds, so keeping it around would be the wrong default. Instead your result shows a countdown, and when it reaches zero the file is gone. Download what you want to keep before then — after 24 hours we cannot get it back, because it no longer exists.

Where the work happens

Finding faces in your clip happens in your own browser. The swap itself runs on a GPU on our side, because that is the heavy lifting — and once it is done and the 24 hours pass, the files are removed.

A note on the watermark

Videos made with free credits carry a small watermark; paid ones do not. That is about the free tier, not about your privacy — the deletion rule is the same either way.
